LIGHT
(12.24.08) "Light" is everywhere this time of year. But, sometimes when the Christmas lights shine it reveals things we would rather keep in the dark. So, how does the Light of the World help? Find out in this special Christmas talk by Lead Pastor Brian Moon.
Big Faith
Part 1
(11.16.08) Imagine how different your outlook on life would be if you had absolute confidence that God was with you? Imagine how differently you would respond to difficulties, temptations, and even good things if you knew with certainty that God was in all of it and was planning to leverage it for good. In other words, imagine what it would be like to have BIG faith.
Part 2(11.23.08) In Part 2 we will look at the role that practical Bible teaching plays in the development of BIG faith and trust in God. From Jesus' parable of the wise and foolish builders, we find that hearing and learning are not enough. The growth is in the application. Do we have enough trust in God, that if we live out this stuff, He will be faithful in His part.
Part 3(11.30.08) Whenever someone shares their faith story there is always that point where they say, "Then I met so and so, I met this person and they took me to church, or they were a huge influence on my life." A person comes into your life and they play a huge role in getting you to where you are at today spiritually. It was as if God dropped this person right down in front of you for a reason. We will look at the role providential relationships play in growing BIG faith.
Part 4(12.07.08) In this part of BIG faith we will introduce the role private disciplines play in the development of our faith. Pulling from Jesus' teaching in the Sermon on the Mount, Brian explains how God leverages systematic prayer and generosity to grow our confidence in Him.
Part 5(12.14.08) If you have ever volunteered to do something that you felt totally unqualified for, then you already know what an experience like that can do for your faith. One of the primary ways God grows our faith is through personal ministry. In this installment Brian will explore the relationship between our faith and our service to others.
Part 6(12.21.08) Life is full of surprises - some good, some not so good. But each unexpected event that comes our way is actually a divine opportunity. In this message, we explore the role that pivotal circumstances play in the development of our confidence in God. Don't miss this final message of the series.

Part 2(10.26.08) There are two options for the life to come. Heaven or Hell. But, if God is a loving god then why would He create hell in the first place? Besides, what do we really know about hell? What to do When
Part 1
(9.14.08) Have you ever wondered what to do when… you are overwhelmed? Or maybe you feel like you have drifted from God, what do you do then? If someone you love keeps making poor choice after poor choice what do you do then? What do you do when your finances are a mess and maybe you have taken all this to God and still He seems silent? What do you do then? For the next five weeks we will answer those questions in relevant and practical ways.
Part 2(9.21.08) Some of the most common questions people ask is how do I get close to God and how do I get close after I have blown it and gone in my own direction? We will look at how to restore our relationship with God when that distance has come between us.
Part 3(9.28.08) We have all had family members or friends who continue to make choices that are destroying their lives, but all too often we don't say or do anything because we don't know the right way to do it. So what do you do when someone you love is making bad choices? We will find out exactly how and why we should speak into another person's life on Sunday.
Part 4(10.05.08) Another of the most common questions people ask is, "Why does God seem to answer some prayers but not others?" What do you do when you take something to God over and over and He closes the door on it? What do you do when God says, "No."? We will look at why God does this and what to do about it.
Part 5(10.12.08) As we wrap up this series, we will talk about something on everyone's minds right now... What to do when your finances are upside down. The Bible has remarkable wisdom when it comes to finances and we will uncover that plan for financial freedom!
Dominate
Part 1
(8.31.08) Starbucks and McDonalds. Two companies that have dominated their industries and changed the landscape of America and beyond. What could a church learn from them? Church of the Suncoast has never been content with church as usual, we want to dominate our community and beyond for God's kingdom. We will look at what that means for us today and tomorrow because each of us has a role to play.
Part 2(9.07.08) Part 2
Words
Part 1
(8.17.08) All of us have had moments when we wish we could take back the words that just left our mouth. And all of us have had our lives shaped by the words spoken to us. Over and over again we are reminded of their power and how one of the most important skills we can learn is to use them wisely.
Part 2(8.24.08) "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Ever said that? Unfortunately, it doesn't ring true for most people. Words have power. Power to build. Power to destroy. So if words have this life-altering power, why not use them to build others up? Find out how you can use your words to build others up this Sunday.
